There are moments in life when anxiety, stress, sadness, and confusion feel like they define us. They settle in like unwelcome guests, whispering that they have always been here and that they will never leave. But the truth is, anything that is not love is only a visitor to your body.
You are not anxious—
Stress is simply flowing through you.
You are not permanently depressed—
Sadness is simply visiting you.
You are not lost—
Confusion is simply wandering within you.
And you are not broken—
Pain is simply passing through you.

The Nature of Feelings: They Come and Go

Feelings, no matter how overwhelming, are not who you are. They are experiences—like waves in an ocean, clouds in the sky, or seasons changing with time. They do not define you; they simply move through you.
But what happens when we forget this?
We attach to our emotions, believing they are permanent truths rather than temporary states. We say, I am stressed, rather than Stress is moving through me. We say, I am broken, rather than Pain is visiting me.
When we mistake visitors for residents, we become trapped.

Holding Space Without Holding On

The key is not to resist these emotions, but to allow them to pass. To observe them, feel them, and release them.
🌿 Anxiety? Let it move through you like wind through an open window.
🌿 Sadness? Let it flow, knowing it has no roots—it will not stay forever.
🌿 Confusion? Let it wander, but do not follow it too far.
🌿 Pain? Let it visit, but do not set a place for it at your table.
Everything that is not love cannot stay, because love is your natural state.

Returning to Love

Love is not just an emotion—it is your essence. It is the stillness beneath the storm, the sky behind the clouds, the sun beyond the night.
When fear, sadness, or doubt visit, ask yourself:
💛 What if I don’t resist this feeling?
💛 What if I allow it to move through me without claiming it as my identity?
💛 What if I remind myself that love is always within me, waiting for me to return?
Because in the end, nothing outside of love is ever truly yours. Everything else is only passing through.
Let it go.
Let yourself be.
And watch as love remains.
🔥 You are not your struggles. You are not your fears. You are love, and everything else is temporary. 🔥
